More than the light —

Lighthouses are an integral part of the coast. Places of history and mystique. Relics from a previous time. The lore of shipwrecks and stories. Each lighthouse is unique.

I photograph them in shifting conditions and quiet light.

I climb lighthouse stairs, pause at the windows, and linger at the top.
